As part of our commitment to sustainability, the Veronda-Falletti Ranch will host compost pick-up events throughout the year, in partnership with the City of Cotati and Zero Waste Sonoma. Join us to collect compost for your gardening needs on the first Saturday and Sunday of every month, from 10 am to 12 pm, rain or shine!

The access gate for compost is on El Rancho Drive here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/2hbx4n7vkJSwiMXVA. If there has been a recent rain event, please be advised to not enter the field with your vehicle. Wheelbarrows and shovels will be provided on these occasions. (Some occasional exceptions to this first-weekend pattern may occur, please check the Recreation Calendar.)

DISCLAIMER: The compost is available for free, on a self-serve first-come, first-served basis, “as is” and with all faults. Zero Waste Sonoma and the City of Cotati make no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, that the compost will be effective, useful, or safe in any manner. By attending the event, you are participating at your own risk. People will load compost into their vehicles using shovels and other equipment and cars will frequently stop. Please drive slowly and proceed with caution.

While you are here collecting on Free Compost Saturdays, become a volunteer team member and have a hand in our farm operations in the row garden or elsewhere at the Ranch by joining Farmer Bryce for his monthly Volunteer Work Days from 10 am to 12 pm.
