Summer Spanish Program for Kids 6-8 yrs old

This summer we will open the treasure chest to explore the magic of children’s literature in Spanish through stories with a variety of language, artistic, emotional, physical and musical content that will allow students to continue to develop language skills.

Students will experience cultural and temporal concepts through playful activities while stimulating their imagination, creativity and connecting in a positive way with the target language; whether it is their heritage language, second language or foreign language.

*This is not a session to learn to read in Spanish, but rather to explore and interact with the target language through literature in a playful way.


Este verano abriremos el cofre del tesoro para explorar la magia de la literatura infantil en español a través de cuentos con una gran variedad de contenidos lingüísticos, artísticos, emocionales, físicos y musicales que permitirán a los alumnos seguir desarrollando sus habilidades lingüísticas. Los estudiantes experimentarán conceptos culturales y temporales a través de actividades lúdicas mientras estimulan su imaginación, creatividad y conectan de forma positiva con la lengua meta; ya sea su lengua de herencia, segunda lengua o lengua extranjera.

*No se trata de una sesión para aprender a leer en español, sino para explorar e interactuar con la lengua meta a través de la literatura de forma lúdica.
